Natural History
These prints are part of a larger body of work called “Natural History”.
I began with a small 38 page sketchbook, created backgrounds and gradually added layers of imagery, working over the whole series simultaneously. I scanned some of the completed pieces and printed them out at 700x100cm.
Much of the imagery refers to experiences from my childhood in East Anglia, but I hope viewers will be able to find meanings of their own.
